CCM enjoyed their annual Sportsfest. There was much excitement amongst the recipients from the Community and Homes as they looked forward to the whole day of competitive activities. These included sports like basketball, volleyball, marathon, and board games like chess and scrabble.
The formal programme began with the singing of the national anthem followed by an opening prayer and short devotion on 1 Timothy 4v8 and the importance of spiritual growth and godly character.
The children enjoyed performing cheering presentations with enthusiasm and then all the events that followed. The smiles on the children’s faces reflected the success of the event– not just in competition, but in the spirit of unity, sportsmanship and joy.
