The Community Programme is grateful to God that the COVID-19 restrictions have been significantly easing in the past months. More than 90% of the target population has already been vaccinated. Masks and face shields are no longer required outside. For the Educational Assistance Programme (EAP), this has meant we are now more free to conduct our regular activities.
One of these activities was the annual thank you letter writing. In this activity, each child makes a personalized card to express gratitude for their sponsor’s support. We provide the materials and the child imaginatively crafts them into a beautiful piece of art. It is a small way in which they can express their personal thanks.
We are so grateful to each sponsor for continuing their support even during the pandemic. They continue to fuel the EAP recipient’s dreams of finishing school and lifting their families out of poverty. Without our sponsors financial support and especially their prayers, we cannot imagine how difficult it would be for us. Thank you for playing such an important role in enabling us to share and show the love of Christ with the children and their families.
