We thank the Lord for social worker Myra Grace Ibanez’s contributions and service in the community and work for the homeless these past four years. We are grateful for the lives she touched, served and in sharing the gospel with her clients and families in the community.
Lowey Artaste, the events and liaison co-ordinator in the homes was given the additional assignment to support the Drop-In Centre and work for the homeless during our Thursday’s activities. He is reporting in the CCM Notre Office twice a week to oversee the work of the Drop-in whilst on duty in the Homes for the remaining weekdays.
In late February, Carylle Praise Ollero, a new social worker in the community also joined us. Truly the Lord is good and faithful in adding labourers for His ministry. She is currently handling 100 clients and assisting them with their studies and various concerns.
We covet your continued prayer for Lowey and Carylle’s adjustments in the community based programmes. Please also pray for more social workers to be hired to help us in reaching and helping these children and families in the communities of Cubao.
