Many will have heard on the news the devastating typhoon that swept across Southern Philippines just before Christmas. Typhoon Odette has wrecked thousands of properties and displaced many families.
Money from the CCM relief fund will be used to conduct a relief operation in Roxas, Palawan, one of the areas hardest hit by the calamity that has not received much attention from the media and the government.
Kuya Louie has been appointed as Relief Director. In early January, he flew to Palawan with a small team to start the execution of the Relief Operation. The pictures on the right show volunteers from the local churches helping to pack emergency Relief goods to be distributed.
Please pray for the success of the ongoing Relief Operation and for wisdom and safety for everyone who will be involved. Pray too for the opportunities to share the gospel with these needy people.
