Growing up in the Homes

8 Jan 2018

Daicy looks back on growing up in the Homes:

I have enjoyed everything in CCM. I have been able to go to school. I’ve had my allowance, my food every day and most of all I have people whom I can call my second family. I’ve especially enjoyed the bonding, fellowship and sharing of thoughts. Although sometimes I have found it a struggle to share my thoughts and problems with others.

I think the most important thing I have learned is to be content with what I have because you cannot always have everything that you want. This is something important that I want to apply to my life when I will be living independently. I’m glad I have had the chance to study the Word of God.

I have learned to be content with what I have…

I’m now 18 and studying in college and looking forward to being successful and reaching my dreams. I want to be able to support my family and provide for what they need, like CCM has provided for me.

I’m so thankful for the people who have sponsored me, prayed for me and have loved me.
