What an idea!

So the contractors building the boys home needed to level the land around the building. The suggestion was to rent some equipment, but this was going to be expensive, and didn't seem like the best use of money.

We decided to hire manual labour instead. We spoke to some of our friends who live on the streets, and who regularly attend the Drop-in Centre. They were really pleased to be offered the chance to have some work. They have been working hard and really wanting to prove themselves!

We were able to borrow some tools, and they have been working for a couple of weeks now. We let them stay in the Boys home building, and we've provided them with utensils so they can cook their own meals.

These men are also regular attendees of the Monday night Bible study organised for the homeless. Praise God for this idea of mutual benefit!
